Sign Language (BSL) Courses List

BSL courses to suit your needs

Whether you want to learn signing for fun or to change your career, we have sign language courses to meet your needs. We run BSL courses so we can provide support to our local Deaf community. By booking your course with us, you help yourself and you help others too!

As a non-profit organisation, your course fees help us support our local Deaf Community groups. We have a significant number of deaf people of all ages who are native sign language users. At the last count, we had over 5,000 BSL users within a 50-mile radius of Milton Keynes.

With your course fees, we can provide communication support to individual BSL users. The range of support includes providing interpreting support, translating letters (English to BSL), signposting to other services (e.g. the Citizens Advice Bureau). More recently, course fees have helped to fund the MK Deaf Zone website so information is accessible 24/7.

We also do more focussed activities by running grant-funded programmes such as employability courses.

If you have a question about our courses, you can check out our BSL Knowledge Centre.
